Introduction
The programme equips graduates with both Business Management skills and Information Technology. It combines the key aspects of Information Technology (covering areas such as Software Development, Communications and Networking, Security, Systems Analysis, Database, etc.) with key facets of business such as Accounting, Operations Management, Organization Behavior, etc. This combination of skills and knowledge prepares graduates to be immediately productive in the modern work environment.
Programme Objective
The BBIT course is intended to produce Information Communication & Technology (ICT) graduates with requisite management and business skills capable of managing ICT organizations and ICT departments, either in employment or in self employment. The programme offers students knowledge and skills in the application of modern Information Technology within business. It builds skills in computer programming, business problem analysis, application design and development and implementation of IT solutions to business problems.
