Dr. Maina serves as a Consultant for Cancer Control in Public Health Systems of LMICs (Low- and Middle-Income Countries) at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) based in Vienna, Austria. His extensive experience at the intersection of medicine and international policy offers a unique perspective on how nuclear technology is utilized for much more than just energy—specifically its life-saving applications in modern healthcare and economic growth.
