The journey toward the Elimu Bora Run reached a vibrant new milestone. On April 24, 2026, the campus came alive as students, faculty, and staff gathered for the second Elimu Bora Pre-Run Walk. More than just a fitness check, the event served as a powerful precursor to the main race scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, proving that the path to educational equity is best traveled together.

 A Walk of Solidarity and Shared Vision

The morning was defined by a profound sense of community and gratitude. Led by the University management under the guidance of Prof. Esther Mombo, Ag. Vice Chancellor, participants marched to demonstrate their unwavering commitment to the mission of "Elimu Bora" (Quality Education).

A central highlight of the day was the collective appreciation for Dr. Jewel Hyun and the impactful work of Matthew 28 Ministries Inc. Their visionary support and generous contributions have been the cornerstone of the Elimu Bora Endowment Fund. This vital resource is dedicated to breaking down financial barriers, ensuring that academic excellence remains accessible to every deserving student.

With the main event less than two months away, the Pre-Run Walk successfully energized the community through:

●      Inclusive Engagement: Uniting students, faculty, and administration under a single noble cause.

●      Public Awareness: Creating a buzz for the June 20th date and highlighting the urgency of the Elimu Bora initiative.
