The new semester kicked off on a high note with new students reporting to their respective campuses in large numbers. The gleam in their enthusiastic faces was a testament to a conducive ambience at the university that would contribute immensely towards a fruitful academic pursuit. The serene environment, state-of-the-art facilities fitted with matching technological infrastructure and appropriate fixtures and fittings, not to mention the hospitality by our staff set precedence for brighter fortunes in the course of their stay at St. Paul’s.
St. Paul’s University has set itself apart through provision of quality, relevant and a holistic education geared towards nurturing competitive graduates in various fields of study and this semester’s cohort would be no exception. Soon after reporting, the students were taken through an insightful orientation session organized by the Dean of Students Office, to enable them settle down seamlessly and make the best out of their campus life. During the sessions the students were taken through maters finance, registration, ICT, spirituality, and extracurricular activities.
By the end of the first week, each students was conversant with basic university operations and soon everything would fall into place as they gradually got assimilated into the new environment. Most of the students were able to find their way around campus; seamlessly manoeuvre through the various online portals - register for courses, book units, check payment details, submit exams; remotely access the library; identify and actively participate in appropriate extracurricular activities; and attend chapel for spiritual nourishment. Their counterparts proceeding to the next levels of study will joined them the following to carry on with their studies. We wish them a fruitful campus life.
