Programme Overview
Introduction
The Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery is designed to train all rounded clinical officers with adequate skills in curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitative medicine capable of providing primary healthcare services and positively impact the health delivery system in Kenya, the region and the world.
Duration
3 years, each year has 3 semesters.
Expected Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program graduate should be able to:
- Apply the knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and management of diseases.
- Collect, interpret and utilize the health data.
- Apply critical thinking skills in health care.
- Conduct community diagnosis.
- Engage in continuing professional-development.
