Publishing has proved to be the biggest undoing to many scholars, with numerous research findings not making it to the public for consumption. Similarly, many postgraduate students struggle to complete their theses with a significant fraction failing to complete their theses due to
failure to publish their research findings.
At St. Paul’s University on the contrary, students are accorded adequate support to accelerate completion of their studies and successfully undertake their scholarly pursuits. Training on article writing and publishing is one of the ways this is done. On Thursday 12th September 2024, the Directorate of Research and Innovation will host a training on Journal and Articles Writing and Reviewing at 3.00 pm on Google meet. The training will be facilitated by Prof. Sanyu A. Mojola, Professor of Sociology, Public Affairs and Demographic Studies at Princeston University.
Participants will join the meeting through the link using their SPU email addresses. This training is part of a series of workshops and trainings on Publishing that have been conducted by SPU’s professors in collaboration with scholars from reputable institutions locally and abroad.
