Promoting integrity among learners is paramount for holistic development of individuals. It builds a culture of honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, responsibility, fairness, respect, dignity and transparency values that go a long way in all our pursuits. At St. Paul's University integrity is part and parcel of key institution's functions.
Every semester, the value is emphasized as students approach their final exams during the "Examination Integrity Week". For the 2025 May -August Semester, the period will be observed from Monday 4th to Friday 8th August 2025. Students will be sensitized on the importance of upholding integrity and the examination rules and regulations that they are expected to adhere to. They will also be advised to shun irregularities such as irregularities such as cheating, impersonation, plagiarism just to mention a few; and their consequences if found culpable.
Cheating is treated as a serious academic offense at St. Paul’s University, punishable within the confines of the Code of Conduct. It could lead to a one-year suspension for the institution.
Campaigns to popularize integrity among the SPU community have been sponsored on Social media, Email and physical gatherings to encourage students to uphold integrity as it promotes honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, responsibility, respect, dignity, transparency in all aspects of academic pursuit. There will be an integrity talk that will be facilitated by Prof. Abraham Waithima, the Deputy Vice Chancellor on Tuesday 5th August, 2025 where students will draw wisdom on integrity.
