Announcing the September Intake for CISCO Networking Academy Programmes

Provision of a holistic education is intrinsic to the St. Paul’s University (SPU) culture. Students are often accorded opportunities to complement the knowledge acquired in class and gain much sough-after industry exposure

through rigorous and enlightening practical sessions. It is against this back drop that the School of Communication and Computer Studies is inviting Information and Communication Technology students and practitioners, seeking to gain hands on experience in Networking to apply for the upcoming intake for the CISCO Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) programme, scheduled to commence in the second week of September 2023.

Taught by a highly qualified faculty, the programme is designed to impart learners with skills in Network design, Routing, Switching, Wireless essentials, Enterprise networking, Security and Automation. Our state-of-the-art computer labs will facilitate acquisition of the skills by learners through practical sessions supervised by the faculty. The course is taught at our Limuru, Nairobi and Nakuru campuses.

Comprising of three modules, it takes a learner two months to complete one module but there is an opportunity for acceleration in order to complete within one month depending on the agreement and speed of a cohort. The course will be taught for four days in a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12.00pm – 2.00pm. It costs Ksh. 10,000 per module for SPU students and Ksh. 14,000 for non- SPU students.
