The significance of partnerships on the institution's growth cannot be overstated! Today, the Department of Communication led by Dr. Susan Mwangi and Dr. Faustine Chongombe, the Department's heads in Limuru and Nairobi campuses
respectively accompanied by Mr. Michael Mungai, the Head of Corporate Affairs paid a courtesy call to Mr. Peter Wakoli, the Ag. Director/CEO of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) at his office in Nairobi.
The discussion was centered on establishing possible areas of collaboration and partnership that will avail opportunities for Communication and Media students. KIMC being a leading trainer of Media practitioners and St. Paul's University (SPU) having set it self apart through provision of quality education and nurturing leaders in various fields for global service including Communication, there is definitely an array of opportunities that would benefit students and staff from both institutions. These opportunities range from students and staff exchange programmes; joint lectures, conferences and research; advancing studies on accommodating terms; networking and industry exposure at both local and international levels.
SPU is on record for offering Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Arts in Communication Studies to several KIMC alumni, who are trailblazers in Communication, Media and Public Relations. For more information on the programmes call 0701079406 or send an email to
