Managed by Dr. Karugu Mureithi, this scholarship is a strategic collaboration with the Association of Protestant Churches and Missions in Germany (EMW). It addresses the historical underrepresentation of women in high-level theological discourse and church governance.

Priority is given to women enrolled in the Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Theology (especially those specializing in Gender and Theology).

Candidates must be recommended by their respective denominations (ACK, PCEA, MCK, RCEA, or NCCK-affiliated churches). We look for women who are active agents of change within their local congregations.

To equip women with the theological depth required to address contemporary challenges facing the African church and society.
