This is an interdisciplinary social science Master Program focusing on problems of poverty and human development. The aim of the MDS is to offer a combination of background theoretical knowledge and concrete skills to understand asses and work in development- related fields. Students will acquire a critical social science approach which prepares them to make contributions to sustainable human development in a role such as policy makers, trainers or practitioners in government agencies, private firms and NGOs.

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree with at least an upper Second class honors; or
- A Bachelor's degree with a lower Second Class Honors and two years work experience in a related field, or
- A Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on 4.0 scale (B+) or the equivalent, from an accredited University or College.
