Rose Nekesa Wasike is a seasoned Human Resource Management practitioner and serves in the University Council as Co-opted member, Finance and General Purpose Committee (FGPC). She has over ten years' experience of management responsibilities in Human Resource functional areas: Human Resource Services, Learning & Development, Employee Relations and Gender & Disability Mainstreaming. Ms. Wasike is also conversant with effective communication among varied audiences, setting high standards of quality of work, change management, disseminating expert technical knowledge across the organization, and translating strategic directions into plans and objectives.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Human Resources Management, Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management, Bachelor's degree in Sociology & Communication, Diploma in French and Certificates in Counseling, Customer Care, Gender Audit, Disability Mainstreaming, and Transformational Leadership.
