DR. WANJUGU WACHIRA

Coordinator, Partnerships, Collaborations and International Students
Dr. Wanjugu Wachira is the Coordinator for Partnerships, Collaborations and International Students at St. Paul’s University, where she plays a key role in advancing the University's internationalization agenda, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening global academic collaborations.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Development Studies, a master’s degree in development studies, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. With a distinguished career spanning academia, research, international relations, and administration, Dr. Wachira brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role.
Dr. Wachira has over four years of experience in international relations and partnership development, successfully supporting institutional collaborations and global engagement initiatives. She also has more than six years of experience in university teaching and postgraduate supervision, mentoring students both locally and internationally. In addition, she has accumulated over eight years of research experience, with an impressive record of scholarly contributions published in both local and international peer-reviewed journals.
A published author, Dr. Wachira wrote the book Outsourcing: Theory, Application, Perceptions and Practice, which is available on Amazon and serves as a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners in the field. Her academic and professional contributions reflect a strong commitment to knowledge generation, innovation, and capacity building.
Beyond academia, Dr. Wachira has over nine years of experience in marketing and administration, equipping her with strong strategic, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills. Her multidisciplinary expertise continues to contribute significantly to the growth of partnerships, international student engagement, and the global visibility of St. Paul’s University.
