Program Objective
he Bachelor of Arts in Social Work program aims at preparing students for professional intervention in the provision of basic support services for vulnerable individuals and groups. The students are offered multi-dimensional training in social intervention to meet the current demands in the fields of Social Policy and Administration, Democracy and Ethnicity, Crisis Counseling, Disaster Management, Deviant Behaviour Change, Family and Child Welfare, Probation Service, Community Health, Environmental Studies, Gender Relations, Democracy and Civil Rights, Resource mobilization and management, Community Development and Participatory Initiatives.
Admission Requirements
KCSE C+ with C- in English and Kiswahili
Cambridge High School Certificate (A Level) with two Principle passes
