Every year, members of the Africa Society of Evangelical Theology converge for a conference to deliberate on pertinent issues at hand. This year, St. Paul's University (SPU)
was privileged to host the 13thAnnual Conference and Annual General Meeting at the Joshua and Timothy School of Theology on Friday, 3rd and Saturday, 4th March. Themed “On this rock I will build my church: Ecclesiology in Africa”, the conference attracted local and international participants who either attended physically or logged on to the sessions virtually. The conference is one of the activities organized by the school as SPU celebrates 120 years of Theologizing.
Prior to the grand opening ceremony, Prof. Elizabeth Mburu, the Chairperson of the Society, and Bishop Dr. Zac Niringiye, the keynote speaker paid a courtesy call to Canon Prof. James Kombo, the Vice Chancellor. They were accompanied by Rev. Dr. Julius Kithinji, the Dean, Joshua and Timothy School of Theology, Dr. Kevin Muriithi, the Head of Department for Practical Theology and Dr. Okello Ogera.
